Kiwibot Commercialization Project
The “Internet of Things” technology revolution is requiring every company to rethink its business strategies and operating structures in order to remain relevant in its industry.
Kiwibot is a start-up company that provides residential communities with free, safe and affordable multi-modal food delivery service that reduces traffic congestion and maximizes carbon-free mobility. The service is currently available in Berkeley, CA with Denver having been selected as their first expansion city. To learn more, please visit www.kiwibot.com.
The objective of this project is for a cross-campus team of students to commercialize the Kiwibot food delivery service on the DU campus. Business development steps will include thorough up-front analysis and planning, extensive market, service and environment trials, and a controlled commercialization ramp-up. The ultimate goal is to expand the service area beyond the DU campus operating the greater Denver franchise as a student-run business.
This is your opportunity to be part of a real business responsible for building the Kiwibot franchise across the Denver area. The project will start in the fall and run through winter and spring quarters. As an operating franchise business, students will be paid $20/hour for up to 10 hours/week of their time.
We are now recruiting student team members with the following majors
